“I think we can have an agreement within a week, we’re working hard on that,” Bon said.
He also announced telephone conversations scheduled for Tuesday on this issue between French President Emmanuel Macron, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
“We must move quickly, and I say this with confidence: there will be a sixth package of European sanctions, they will be very powerful, and we will gradually, on schedule, first give up Russian oil, but also Russian hydrocarbons in general,” the Secretary of State concluded.
