He provided the military of the Russian Federation with food and called for cooperation – the deputy of the Akhtyrsky district council is suspected of treason.
The head of the Sumy regional prosecutor’s office informed the deputy of the Akhtyrsky district council of the XIII convocation from the political party “Our Land” of treason and distribution of materials calling for changing the borders of the territory of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the deputy, having a pro-Russian position, during the occupation of the Trostyanets Society began to cooperate with the military personnel of the armed forces of the Russian Federation. He supplied them with food, provided information on the best ways to move around the territory, accompanied them both in his own vehicles and in their military equipment.
Also, speculating on the vital needs of people during the occupation, the deputy called on the local population of the Trostyanets society to the so-called “negotiations” with the military of the aggressor country. In social networks, he distributed materials calling for changing the borders of the territory of Ukraine.
It is noted that the suspect is currently detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, the issue of choosing a measure of restraint for him is being decided. Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by investigators of the SBU Department in the Sumy region.
