On the fact of Russian missile strikes on civilian and tourist infrastructure in the Odessa region, on May 9, the prosecutor’s office began a pre-trial investigation under the article on violation of the laws and customs of war.
According to the investigation, on May 9, a man died from a rocket explosion of Russian invaders on the territory of a warehouse in the Suvorovsky district of Odessa , two more were injured. As a result of shelling and fire, storage and administrative premises were significantly damaged.
This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General on May 10.
As a result of the shelling of the Odessa region, about 1 thousand square meters were damaged and caught fire. buildings of the shopping and entertainment center. Three civilians were taken to the hospital with injuries. The blast wave also damaged the facades and windows of residential buildings next to the mall.
In addition, Russian troops attacked the tourist infrastructure in the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky region. Destroyed and damaged five buildings of the recreation center and the building of a small private business. As a result of the rocket attack, three civilians received multiple injuries.
The Office of the Prosecutor General emphasized that there are no military installations in these territories.
Recall that on May 9, Russian troops launched several rocket attacks on Odessa. It happened exactly on the day when the President of the European Council Charles Michel visited the city.
