Arestovich spoke about this in a conversation with Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin on May 10.
” The end of May is a very long time for the situation at the front. In reality, we need faster and we need more . Why? Because the Russian army is now abandoning everything – the last reserve,” said the adviser to the head of the OP.
“They also cannot accumulate resources. All that they have is formed from three sources: this is covert and partial mobilization. A lumpen arrives, which is sent to the infantry. There are reservists who have been corrupted socio-economically, politically and ideologically. They immediately rush into battle The terms of preparation for coordination – from four to six days – practically from a military point of view, this is nothing, but it rushes into battle, because it is necessary at all costs to achieve formal success, which consists in reaching the same Luhansk or Donetsk border. this formal success is proclaimed without corresponding military results. Obviously, Putin is running out of money in Moscow,” Arestovich said.
” This means a tremendous burden for our troops, who have been holding the situation for more than 30 days in the direction of the main attack, let’s say delicately, in extraordinary circumstances. Because it’s very difficult for ours there. And the troops are fighting,” he added.
Recall, on May 9, US President Joe Biden signed a bill on lend-lease for Ukraine , within the framework of which – an increase in the supply of weapons and an acceleration in the pace of providing them to Ukraine.
