In the temporarily occupied Izyum, Kharkiv region, the humanitarian situation is very difficult.
Due to the actions of the invaders of the terrorist state, it is impossible to bring medicines and food into the city. Currently, there are 12-14 thousand inhabitants left there. Until February 24, more than 45 thousand people lived in Izyum.
The secretary of the Izyum city council Konstantin Petrov told about this to Channel 24.
According to him, there is practically no connection in the city. If with the outbreak of hostilities there were places where local residents could go out and make phone calls, now it is difficult. True, a connection occurs in water, but these are only isolated cases.
“Actually, there are no utilities there: electricity, gas, water. All this is not in the city,” Petrov said.
The representative of the City Council also said that in Izyum itself it is not so “hot”. After all, the battles of the Ukrainian military with the Russian occupiers continue outside the city.
As reported, human bodies were found in Izyum, Kharkiv region, when clearing rubble. It turned out that these people died a month ago – in the first decade of March.
