Ukraine is in dire need of fuel supply. To reduce the shortage of fuel in Ukraine, a simplified procedure for road transport with Poland and other European countries began to operate.
This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Mustafa Nayem.
An agreement was reached with the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic of Poland and other European countries on permit-free travel for vehicles transporting fuel. Trucks will be able to go abroad for fuel without wasting time on obtaining permits.
That is, trucks, vehicles carrying fuel can cross the border under a simplified procedure only by filling out the form at the link . Vehicles with fuel must be registered one day before crossing the state border with Poland.
In addition, since May 7, the implementation of bilateral and transit transportation of goods through the territory of Ukraine by road carriers of these countries is carried out without the use of permits. The exemptions apply to the following carriers:
- Latvian, Lithuanian, Danish, Estonian – until the end of 2022;
- Italian, Greek, Hungarian, German – until June 30, 2022;
- Bulgarian, Georgian, Slovak, Austrian – for the period of martial law.
“All permits that were still needed to bring fuel into the country have been canceled … the customs service has been notified of this by letter,” Nyeem said.
