On Wednesday morning, May 11, the army of the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on Zaporozhye.
Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down an enemy object. However, fragments of the rocket fell into a settlement near the regional center.
This was reported by the press service of the Zaporozhye Regional Military Administration.
“The missile exploded over an infrastructure facility in a settlement near the regional center. The facility was severely damaged,” the statement said.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the Russian attack.
By the way, since the beginning of this day, for the first time, an air alert in Zaporozhye was reported at 01:39, and canceled at 03:21. The second notification appeared at 09:35. The alarm ended at 09:50.
Recall, on May 11, the army of the Russian Federation fired missiles at Slovyansk in the Donetsk region. Two mikrorayonimists attacked. It is noted that there were no casualties.
