In the Kharkov region, during the counter-offensive, Ukrainian border guards destroyed 30 Russian soldiers, and two more invaders were taken prisoner.
The prisoners stated that they were residents of the Krasny Luch, and at the same time they convincingly indicated that they were from the Luhansk region .
This was reported to the State Border Guard Service on May 11.
The department recalled that on the eve of the Defense Forces of Ukraine liberated five settlements of the Kharkiv region from the invaders , from where Russian troops fired mortars and cannon artillery at the residential areas of the regional center.
In these battles, the combined detachment of border guards inflicted damage on the invaders not only in manpower, but also in armored vehicles.
Recall, according to the General Staff, as of the morning of May 11, Russian troops pulled together several of their units in the Kharkiv region in order to prevent the Armed Forces of Ukraine from advancing to the border with the Russian Federation.
At the same time, the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine north of Kharkov continues to successfully push the occupiers to the Russian-Ukrainian border.
