Two residents of the Rivne region were detained by law enforcement officers on suspicion of justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
They denied the fact of the genocide committed by the Russian military in the settlements of the Kiev region – in Bucha and Irpin .
This was reported in the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The women reportedly considered the atrocities committed by the Russian occupiers on Ukrainian soil as a staging of power organized to incite ethnic hatred.
“Also, one of the suspects denied the massacre of Ukrainian citizens at the railway station in Kramatorsk, blaming the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for this. Under the procedural leadership of the Rivne Regional Prosecutor’s Office, two residents of the Rivne region were reported on suspicion of justifying, recognizing as lawful, denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and glorifying it participants,” the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General noted.
