Despite Russia’s assistance in the war with Ukraine, Belarus will head the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation for 4 months.
Most of the EU countries, except Estonia, today, May 11, attended a meeting within the framework of the forum chaired by Minsk. This happened despite the fact that Ukraine asked the EU not to do so.
This wasannounced by the Brussels correspondent of “Radio Liberty” Rikard Jozwiak.
“For 4 months, Belarus will chair the OSCE Forum on Security Co-operation (FSC), despite being called a “co-aggressor” in Ukraine. All EU countries, except Estonia, today attended a meeting at this forum chaired by Minsk online or in person despite Ukraine’s request not to do so,” Yozwiak wrote.
Recall that the Ministry of Internal Affairs considers it unlikely that the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko can order his troops to launch a ground operation on the territory of Ukraine .
