Russian occupiers are torturing Ukrainian civilians taken hostage.
This was announced by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.
“The occupiers posted a video of the interrogation of a resident of Oleshki, kidnapped by them in the Kherson region, Serhiy Moroz, for free access. The video recorded facts of beating and torture with the use of electric current,” the Ombudsman noted.
She stressed that the video is yet another proof of Russia’s war crimes.
Denisova urged the UN Commission to Investigate Human Rights Violations during the Russian military invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts.
Recall that the Ministry of Defense spoke about the hypocrisy of international law, which may prevent the punishment of Russian murderers and rapists .
