The Polish side agreed to use the state export credit insurance corporation.
To insure fuel carriers to Ukraine, Poland agreed to engage in this process the state-owned Export Credit Insurance Corporation, which will offer additional country risk reinsurance instruments to help Ukrainian importers of petroleum products.
This was announced by the First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko.
“In the near future, such mechanisms will be developed and agreed with Ukraine,” she said.
According to her, the problem of importing fuel needs to be resolved at the government level, since insurance companies oblige carriers to obtain additional coverage for entry into Ukraine, which ultimately increases the cost of fuel.
Recall that soon queues at gas stations should decrease, and prices will stabilize. Gasoline should fall in price less than 40 hryvnia per liter , and diesel should not cost more than 43 hryvnia.
