PowerColor has unveiled perhaps the cutest version of the Radeon RX 6650 XT graphics accelerator. A distinctive feature of the Hellhound Sakura Edition is an unusual white and pink color scheme with sakura flower patterns on the rear reinforcing plate.
The manufacturer also announced black and all-white (Hellhound Spectral) versions of the Radeon RX 6650 XT Hellhound. All three are based on the Navi 23 KXT chip with 32 compute units, which include 2048 stream processors, 32 ray tracing accelerator units, 128 texture units and 64 raster units.
The chip offers a slight factory overclock and operates in the frequency range from 2486 to 2689 MHz. The card has 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 128-bit bus. The data transfer rate is 17.5 Gbps per contact. Due to this, its throughput is increased to 288 GB / s. There is also a 32 MB Infinity Cache speed buffer. Like the regular Radeon RX 6600 XT, it only uses eight PCIe 4.0 lanes to operate.
The cooling system of the Hellhound Sakura Edition version has a pink backlight and has two fans. The card received one 8-pin connector for additional power. The nominal TDP of the novelty is 180 watts.
The PowerColor RX 6650 XT Hellhound Sakura Edition accelerator is already on sale. For example, it can be found in New Zealand, where it is offered for around $503.
