In company with the flagship Sony Xperia 1 IV , the debut of the affordable Xperia 10 IV model took place. Like its older brother, the device is visually indistinguishable from its predecessor, which, however, did not prevent some nice improvements. The main among them is the battery increased from 4500 to 5000 mAh, which did not affect the dimensions: on the contrary, the device became even a little smaller and lighter. A small upgrade happened in terms of the chipset: now it is Snapdragon 695 instead of Snapdragon 690 in Xperia 10 III. The screen is the same: 6.0″, OLED, 60 Hz.
At the same time, the Xperia 10 IV case switched to Gorilla Glass Victus glass (on both sides) and is still protected from water and dust according to IP65 / 68 standards. But the camera configuration has not changed and still includes a 12-megapixel main, and a pair of 8-megapixel sensors (wide and telephoto). By the way, like the older model, the Xperia 10 IV is no longer supplied with a charging unit in the kit. The Sony Xperia 10 IV will be available in white, black, green and lavender, priced at £429 for a single 6/128GB configuration.
