From the first days of the war, not only military personnel, but also civilians – civil servants, public utilities, doctors, drivers, journalists risk their lives and health for the sake of our victory. Among them, unfortunately, there are many wounded and dead in the line of duty.
A discussion was initiated on a draft law on support for workers who were engaged in public service, professional journalistic activities or worked at critical infrastructure facilities and therefore received a disability.
The corresponding draft law No. 7353 was registered in the Verkhovna Rada.
According to this bill, those Ukrainians who suffered from hostilities while fulfilling their official obligations can receive benefits in the amount of 200 to 800 thousand hryvnias.
What will be the payouts? If an employee has received a disability in the performance of his duties, then, depending on the group, he will receive the following payments:
- And the group – 800 thousand UAH,
- II group – 500 thousand UAH,
- III group – 200 thousand UAH.
In the event of the death of an employee, the amount of payment to relatives will be one million hryvnia.
