During the day on May 12, the Armed Forces of Ukraine “covered” the combat vehicles of the invaders in several directions, thus knocking down small offensives of the Russian military.
In particular, we are talking about the Kherson, Zaporozhye and Kharkov directions.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, spoke about this in an interview with Russian human rights activist and lawyer Mark Feigin on Thursday, May 12.
“There were two very good hits by ours in the Kherson region, very powerful, ours “covered” several dozen military vehicles of infidels. And the situation was very good during the day near Izyum, ours hit several times in response, and in the Zaporozhye direction they “covered” very high quality in one place. That is, we went through the positions of the Russians in the rear,” he said.
According to Arestovich, these small victories help slow down the pace of the infidels’ offensive and do not allow them to develop. “There ( Russian troops – ed. ) are fizzling out. The Russian army, according to Arestovich, will not conduct more strategic offensive operations in this war.
“The operational offensive is fizzling out in the Lugansk direction. I think that soon they will have only tactics and defense left, we talked about this before,” the adviser to the OP noted.
Recall, Arestovich said that “grand changes” in the leadership of the General Staff continue in Russia. Even the “leader of the invasion of Ukraine” Valery Gerasimov has already been de facto removed from his duties, but legally he still holds his position.
