Unbelieving Jews then convinced the ruler Herod Agrippa that Jacob should be captured and sentenced to death. The apostle listened calmly to his death sentence and continued to speak about Christ. One of the scammers, Josiah, was struck by the boldness of Jacob and immediately believed in Christ. And when the apostle was taken to the execution, he fell at his feet and began to beg for forgiveness. The apostle embraced him and said: “Peace be with you and forgiveness.” He was executed along with Jacob.
