The Kyiv Zoo, closed to the public since the beginning of the war, began working as a park.
Now street expositions, bird lakes and an arboretum are available for viewing. Ticket offices are open from 10:00 to 15:00. Visitors can be in the zoo at 16:30.
This was reported in the press service of the KSCA.
In the event of an air raid, visitors should leave the area immediately and head to the nearest storage facility.
“KyivZoo opens its doors to visitors, so now everyone can see the rescued tigress Delilah, a whole “kindergarten” of monkeys, various turtles, birds and lizards. Also, Tony the gorilla and Lily the hippopotamus are waiting for guests in their renovated summer enclosures, green islands, and usually Horace the elephant, lions, giraffes, deer, bears and many other of our inhabitants,” the zoo said.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the full-scale military invasion of Russia, the Moscow Zoo has rescued and sheltered 141 animals. They are currently being rehabilitated.
