In the Kremlin, after several days of silence about intimidating the world to use nuclear weapons, they again announced the possibility of using them.
The option to use Russia’s nuclear weapons is on the table with the top political leadership of the state.
This was stated by Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky in an interview with UnHerd New.
“I believe that if you are dealing with a nuclear state, if you are threatening a military state, you should consider all the options that are on the table,” Polyansky said.
Meanwhile, leading experts at The Atlantic Council assessed the likelihood of Russia using nuclear weapons as very low. There is only a 5% chance that Russia can strike with a nuclear weapon. But they believe that if Russian President Vladimir Putin decides to use nuclear weapons, then it will be in Ukraine, and not on the territory of NATO countries.
