The government is resuming inspections of Ukrainian companies providing utilities, in particular in the energy sector.
This is because the Cabinet of Ministers has already received more than one appeal from Ukrainians regarding unreasonable charges.
Prime Minister Denys Shmygal stated this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“Today we have on the agenda a decision to resume inspections in companies that provide utility services to Ukrainians. In particular, in the energy sector. I will explain why this decision was made. Unfortunately, the government has already received more than one appeal from Ukrainians regarding unreasonable charges. Therefore we need to quickly put things in order here,” the head of government said.
Recall that at a meeting on May 10, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted bills that propose introducing a moratorium on raising tariffs for heat , hot water, gas and its distribution for all categories of consumers for the period of wartime and 6 months after its completion.
