In the Kherson region, the National Guard seized the premises of the Status provider and turned off the equipment, forcing the leadership to connect to the network in Crimea.
The invaders also threaten with reprisals those who refuse to cooperate with the occupation regime.
This was reported by the State Special Communications Service.
The department noted that free access to information is one of the main threats to Russians in the temporarily occupied territories, because if Ukrainians know the truth, hostile propaganda does not work. That is why the occupiers are trying to connect the Internet networks of Ukraine to their system, controlled by the special services, in order to block access to Ukrainian resources and completely control the actions of people on the Internet. The Russians are blackmailing and threatening Ukrainians who refuse to cooperate with the occupiers.
The department recalled that such actions are a gross violation of international law. The State Special Communications Service records them and will use them as evidence in cases against the occupiers.
As reported, the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine expelled from its ranks journalists from the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region for collaborationism . Three journalists from Melitopol were expelled for betrayal: Olesya Grusneva, Denis Dorofeev and Dmitry Pereverzev. They began to cooperate with the Russian occupiers.
