Troops of the Russian Federation on May 12 launched several rocket and artillery strikes on the Ship and Ingul districts of Nikolaev and the territory of the Galitsyn community.
Four civilians were injured.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
In particular, due to the hit of ammunition and their fragments as a result of shelling by the Russian military, a metal trailer caught fire at an industrial facility in the Ship District. Four people were injured.
Rescuers of the 5th State Fire and Rescue Unit (DPRC) extinguished the fire on an area of 30 square meters.
Also, in the Ship District, 0.2 hectares of coniferous flooring, trees, shrubs, and dry grass were extinguished in an open area.
In the Ingulsky district, a sports facility suffered from shelling by the Russians – three square meters of the roof were covered.
Rescuers of the Galitsinovsky detachment of the local fire brigade were twice involved in extinguishing coniferous flooring in the territories of the Balabanovskiy and Galitsinovskiy forestry enterprises. In total, the fire was extinguished on an area of more than 1.5 hectares.
Earlier it became known that 800 hectares of forest were on fire in the Kherson region. Due to the temporary occupation in the area, foresters and firefighters are unable to extinguish the fire.
