Ukrainian troops counterattack the enemy near Kharkov and force the Russian invaders to withdraw their forces from the region.
The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kharkov is beginning to resemble the successful ousting of the invaders from near Kiev and the northern regions of the country.
This is reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
ISW experts believe that Russia may abandon the plan to cordon Ukrainian troops along the Izyum-Slavyansk-Debaltseve line. And the occupiers can choose a smaller environment of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk.
The Institute’s analysts also note that the Armed Forces of Ukraine broke the plans of the invaders, who withdrew their forces towards Rubizhne and Severodonetsk. However, experts are not sure that the occupiers will not try to regain lost positions in the near future. Most likely, in the coming days, Russian troops will launch a ground offensive in the area of Severodonetsk, according to ISW.
Recall that on February 24, Russia attacked Ukraine , inflicting a series of missile and air strikes on our cities, including Kiev. A large-scale invasion has been going on for the 79th day (war of 8 years). The occupiers continue to destroy Ukrainian villages, towns and cities with cruise missiles and air bombs, killing the civilian population and causing devastating destruction to the infrastructure.
