Four cars were purchased and equipped according to NATO standards thanks to the initiative of the ex-chairman of Kyivoblgaz.
The ex-official and father of 3 children from the first days of the war not only volunteers, but also defends the country in the ranks of the 114th brigade of the territorial defense of the Kyiv region.
“The war is not over. The enemy is destroying infrastructure, residential buildings, our cultural heritage and, worst of all, human lives. So it is the duty of every Ukrainian to help their state in whatever way they can. These cars are the least that I personally can do,” Dronov said.
The military will use new vehicles primarily for transporting ammunition or food, for the rapid evacuation of the wounded, and, if necessary, these vehicles can also turn into firing points.
“The vehicles are well prepared to work in combat conditions, they will be used to quickly respond to combat missions and strengthen our unit on the front line,” said one of the commanders of the unit that received the vehicles.
According to Dmitry Dronov, the next batch of vehicles is being re-equipped in order to subsequently go to the front line. “I myself am an officer, I have a higher military education and 7 years of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so I perfectly understand how important technical equipment and adapted vehicles are in places where fierce battles are taking place. If my help saves at least one life or brings Ukraine even a centimeter closer to victory, then this is not in vain.”
