US President Joe Biden has signed a $ 40 billion military aid package previously approved by Congress.
This amount is the largest package of American aid since Russia’s invasion in February.
The law will provide financial support to Ukraine for about the next five months. In particular, it includes about six billion dollars for armored vehicles and air defense.
Biden is currently in South Korea on a four-day trip to Asia.
According to correspondents, the document was delivered to him for signature.
Speaking in Seoul, Biden said Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was an attack on “basic international principles”.
What does the package include?
The package provides $ 6 billion for security and another $ 8.7 billion for weapons already provided by the United States to Ukraine.
Among them have long been known about the Javelins, howitzers, kamikaze drones Switchblade.
According to data published earlier by the Washington Post, the United States is already supplying or intending to supply to Ukraine:
- more than 7,000 small arms,

- laser-guided missile systems,
- unmanned coast guard boats,
- anti-personnel mines M18A1 Claymore,
