In Ukraine, tens of thousands of lives could have been saved if the world had provided weapons in time.
Also now Ukraine needs at least 5 billion dollars a month to keep the economy in the conditions of war.
This was announced on May 23 during an online speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Aid to a state that has been attacked is more valuable the faster it is provided. Arms, finances, political support, sanctions against Russia. If we had received them 100% of our needs back in February, then the result of this would have been tens of thousands lives saved. That’s why Ukraine needs all the weapons that we request, and not just those that are provided to us. That’s why Ukraine needs finance, and this is at least $5 billion a month,” Zelensky said.
Recall that Ukraine offers the world to create such a precedent for the restoration of the country after the war, which will demonstrate to everyone who wants to destroy the life of a neighbor that the war does not give the desired result. The amount of work is enormous.
