The State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection has begun inspections of gas stations.
The agency began to receive complaints from consumers regarding inflated prices at gas stations .
This is stated on the website of the State Food Service.
“In recent days, reports have begun to come from all regions of excessively inflated prices, the absence of settlement documents, denial of a free choice of means of payment, etc. inspections of business entities operating in the retail fuel market,” the report says.
In the Chernivtsi region, inspections of five filling stations of PP-OIL LLC have begun, where diesel fuel was sold at 70 hryvnias per liter.
Based on the results of the inspection, as of May 22, fuel is not being sold at gas stations.
The State Food and Consumer Service recalls that price gouging under martial law is unacceptable, and violation of the rules for doing business will have consequences in the form of fines and other administrative measures.
