Ukrainian boxer Oleg Prudkiy gave his life defending his homeland from invaders.
The full-scale war that Russia unleashed against Ukraine took the life of another athlete.
Oleg Prudky, one of the best boxers in the Cherkasy region, two-time champion of Ukraine and master of sports of international class, died in battles with Russian invaders.
Details and place of his death have not been released. The Boxing Federation of Ukraine expressed its condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased athlete.
It should be noted that Prudkiy performed in the weight category up to 60 kg and was a member of the well-known team “Ukrainian chieftains”.
