The assets of the Russian terrorist state should be directed to help victims of the war, which the Kremlin began on February 24.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky notes that all assets scattered across different jurisdictions must be found, arrested or frozen, and then confiscated.
This was stated by President Zelensky during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
According to him, after these stages, they should be sent to a special fund, from which all victims of this war will be able to receive compensation.
“Of course, this is not easy. But after that, various aggressors will no longer have the motivation to do what Russia did, and they will continue to do it. If the aggressor loses everything, then this definitely deprives the motivation to start a war,” he stressed.
As reported, Zelensky called for increased sanctions against Russia due to the war that began in Ukraine.
