Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian propagandists have been coming up with new fakes every day to demoralize Ukrainians and discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Experts from the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine have collected a selection of fakes , manipulations and disinformation stuffing that the enemy produced during May 23.
This is stated in the message of the Center for Combating Disinformation.
List of fakes, misinformation and manipulations:
- President of Belarus Lukashenko said: “The West is taking steps to ‘dismember’ Ukraine, and official Minsk is alarmed.” At the same time, he noted that “Ukrainians will still have to ask Minsk and Moscow to prevent the ‘separation’ of the west of Ukraine.” Warning: This is manipulation!
- “With Biden’s irresponsibility, the West has driven itself into an unprecedented fuel crisis, and the sanctions against the Russian Federation have hit their initiators, since the cost of gasoline has already broken all records,” this thesis continues to be spread by the Russian media, referring to Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Volodin. Warning: This is misinformation!
- The Russian media, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry, reported that “in order to solve the problem of supplying Ukrainian grain to the world market, all sanctions against Russian exports must first be lifted.” Warning: This is manipulation!
Recall that Russian propagandists actively come to the territories of Ukraine occupied by the invaders. However, the locals are not happy to see them. A resident of occupied Kherson courageously responded to Russian propagandists and stated that the Russian Federation had groundlessly seized Ukrainian territories.
