The invaders tried to cut off the Luhansk region from the Lysichansk-Bakhmut highway.
As a result of regular criminal actions of the invaders , a large-diameter gas pipeline was damaged. Therefore, the gas supply of the Donetsk region is in question.
This was announced by the head of the Luhansk police department Sergei Gaidai.
“On the border of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the Russians, trying to advance and seize this highway, got into the main gas pipeline with a diameter of 1,200 mm. The pressure in the pipe immediately dropped from 15 to 5 atm, which calls into question the further gas supply to the neighboring region,” he said.
According to him, it is still extremely difficult to get to the depressurized area due to active hostilities.
“36,000 consumers from three settlements in the Luhansk region have a certain supply of blue fuel due to residual pressure in the pipes,” he summed up.
As reported, in the Lugansk region, the Red Cross has equipped a medical center for sick patients.
