President Volodymyr Zelensky called on foreign companies to leave the Russian market, which unleashed a war against Ukraine. He stressed that Ukraine offers such companies a range of opportunities within the country and on the European market.
He stated this on May 23 during a speech at the World Economic Forum.
” So that your brands are not associated with war crimes. So that your offices, accounts, goods are not used by war criminals in their bloody interests ,” Zelensky said.
The President explained that companies leaving the Russian market are offered to continue their activities in Ukraine .
“You will get access not only to our market of 40 million consumers, but also to the common market of Europe . And at the same time, your brands and positions will only strengthen due to the fact that you really support the defense of freedom,” Zelensky added.
Recall that Zelensky called on the West to impose an embargo on Russian oil , to block Russian banks and the IT sector.
