Ukrainian air defense shot down an enemy missile over a village in the Kirovograd region: the wreckage fell on an open area

On the afternoon of May 23, air defense forces shot down a Russian missile over Annovka, Novoukrainsky district, Kirovograd region.

Debris from an enemy missile fell on open ground. Fortunately, there were no dead or injured.

This was announced by the head of the Kirovograd OVA Andrey Raikovich.

“A few hours ago, our air defense shot down an enemy missile over the village of Gannovka, Novoukrainsky district. It fell in an open area. Experts are working. Thanks to our glorious Armed Forces of Ukraine for keeping us alive!” he wrote.

As previously reported, the Russian army continues to advance in several directions. The main goal of Russia remains an attempt to encircle the groupings of the Joint Forces, establish full control over the Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson regions and ensure the stability of the land corridor with the occupied Crimea.
