Ukraine continues to lose its brave defenders in battles with Russian invaders. After the death of the Ukrainian boxer Oleg Prudky , it became known about the death of another athlete.

At the front, the champion of Ukraine in kickboxing and the world champion in martial arts “muay thai” Alexei Yanin died.

This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

Back in 2014, Yanin volunteered for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and after returning from military service, he continued to defend his homeland in the ranks of the Azov detachment.

Alexey, together with his brothers, held the defense of Mariupol. Unfortunately, the invaders killed the world champion on the night of April 7 during the fighting. The deceased hero is survived by his wife Tamara and son Nazariy.

Earlier, TSN Prosport reported another loss for Ukrainian boxing. Former Ukrainian boxer and referee Oleksiy Kupyrev died as a result of enemy shelling in Mariupol
