Russian occupiers are carrying out engineering arrangement of positions on the border of the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
The purpose of such measures is to divert the attention of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to prevent their transfer to other directions .
This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff as of the morning of May 24.
“In the Seversky direction, the enemy continues to carry out measures in order to strengthen the cover of the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions and prevent the transfer of our troops to other directions. The engineering equipment of positions in the areas of the international automobile checkpoint Pogar and the settlement of Sluchovsk in the Bryansk region was noted,” – the message says.
The General Staff also reports that over the past day, the enemy launched an air strike on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the area of the settlement of Belopolye, Sumy region.
Recall that Russia fired four missiles in the Dnepropetrovsk region . They hit the railway infrastructure in the Pavlograd and Sinelnikovsky districts. As a result of rocket strikes, serious railway tracks and a contact network were damaged.
