“In the second half of 2021, Ukrainians settled in the networks of non-resident banks for $500-700 million monthly. Even up to $50 million was withdrawn in cash from ATMs,” said Mikhail Demkiv, financial analyst at ICU Group.

According to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, 6.4 million people left Ukraine. According to estimates, every Ukrainian in April paid with a card for an average of $125 (equivalent) and withdrew about $150 in cash from an ATM.
