Oppo launched the low-cost Oppo Pad Air tablet and Enco R wireless earbuds in China on Monday alongside the Reno8 series of smartphones.
The Oppo Pad Air features a 10.36-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The tablet is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, which contains eight Kryo 265 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz, an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X11 LTE modem. On board there is up to 6 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of up to 128 GB. There is also a slot for microSD memory cards.
The specifications of the device include four speakers with Dolby Atmos support, an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP webcam. The weight of the tablet is 440 g. Oppo Pad Air supports input using finger touches or a stylus.
As previously reported , a version of the tablet without cellular support will go on sale – only with Wi-Fi. The 7100mAh battery supports 18W charging. The tablet runs ColorOS based on Android 12.
The Oppo Pad Air will go on sale June 1st in Silver and Grey. The base model with 4/64 GB of memory costs 1299 yuan ($195), the version with 6/128 GB of memory will cost 1699 yuan ($255). The tablet comes with a range of accessories, including a 349 yuan ($52) keyboard case and a 299 yuan ($45) stylus.
Encor R wireless headphones with AAC and SBC codec support are equipped with 13.4mm drivers. The device does not have ANC active noise cancellation, although it does have AI noise cancellation on voice calls. Each earbud weighs only 3.5 grams. In terms of protection against moisture and dust, the device meets the IPX4 standard.
Encor R has a battery life of 4 hours. Thanks to the charging case, this figure increases by 20 hours.
To connect headphones to devices, the Bluetooth 5.2 protocol is used. Charging is via a USB-C port. Oppo Enco R will go on sale in China from June 1 for 299 yuan ($45).
