Spying in favor of the enemy: how Russian special services recruited children with the help of games in a smartphone

The security service exposed the Russian intelligence services for using smartphone games to recruit Ukrainian children.

This is a mobile application. In it, participants must look for the so-called “boxes” with virtual prizes. Then they can be exchanged for electronic means.

This was reported in the press service of the SBU.

When the participants of the game pass the route, they must photograph the terrain, military and critical infrastructure facilities on the territory of different settlements.

It is noted that an IT company controlled by the special services of the aggressor state has access to the administration of this application. It is registered in one of the European countries and is engaged in the distribution of interactive platforms.

“Thus, the enemy “in the dark”, that is, without their knowledge, used Ukrainian children to collect information about the location of strategically important objects,” the SBU notes.

By the way, two teenagers were detained in the Kirovograd region. They photographed roadblocks, elevators and transport routes.

As reported, four agents of the Russian Federation were arrested in the Nikolaev region , who collected information about the consequences of shelling, the deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military equipment and personal data of Ukrainian defenders and transferred them to the curator.
