The political scientist spoke about the mood in Russia: “people less optimistic about Putin expect a bad end”

Russian political scientist Fyodor Krasheninnikov said that many residents of the Russian Federation today are already tired of the policies of President Vladimir Putin and are waiting for at least some speedy end to the war against Ukraine.

When the war in Ukraine has been going on for so long, everyone in Russia has roughly understood that nothing good comes of it, and the longer it goes on, the worse it gets.

Krasheninnikov spoke about this on the air of the FreedomUA TV channel.

He expressed the opinion that the main feeling that the Russians are experiencing now is a feeling of “growing weariness from all this.”

“Moreover, people from different sides feel it, including people who were initially ready to support this war, because they did not fully understand or did not want to understand what was happening. Now, when all this has been going on for so long, everyone has already roughly understood that nothing good comes of it, the further the worse,” the Russian political scientist said.

According to him, among the Russians there are still hopes that Putin will somehow “steer” and that the war will soon end “with something good.”

“And people who are less optimistic about Putin expect a bad end and think: ‘My God, let this end at least somehow faster,’ because it’s impossible to live in this rhythm forever,” Krasheninnikov said.

Recall, as the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kirill Budanov, said, Putin has cancer and several other ailments. However, he will live for several more years.
