Ukrainian teachers will receive 43,000 laptops from Google. Such technical support will help them to effectively continue distance learning.
This was announced on May 24 by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.
“Recently, together with the MES, we managed to agree on a partnership with Google for Education, which provides for the transfer of 43,000 Chromebook laptops for teachers to Ukraine,” he wrote.
In addition, educators will be able to take online training from Google , as well as enjoy some features of Workspace for Education for free until the end of the year. This will make the educational process more interesting and productive.
“Now, thousands of schools have been bombed, many families have been forced to leave their homes. But even in such conditions, teachers heroically continue the educational process and conduct lessons online . They turn on zooms and send assignments to students from bomb shelters,” Fedorov explained.
Recall that a school in the Kyiv region received Starlink to resume the educational process .
