Zotac has unveiled the compact yet powerful ZBOX QTG7A4500 workstation. The novelty with dimensions of 210.82 × 203.2 × 63.5 mm is equipped with an integrated NVIDIA RTX A4500 professional graphics accelerator with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory.
The ZBOX QTG7A4500 is based on an octa-core and 16-thread Intel Core i7-11800H of the Tiger Lake generation with a frequency of up to 4.6 GHz and a nominal TDP of 45 W. This chip offers a good level of performance, but it’s a little old that the company didn’t equip the new 2022 with one of the fresh Alder Lake processors.
Zotac notes that the volume of the ZBOX QTG7A4500 is only 2.65 liters. Despite this, you can find two SO-DIMM sockets inside with support for up to 64 GB of DDR4-2933 or DDR4-3200 RAM, space for installing a 2.5-inch drive, an M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot for installing an NVMe SSD , as well as an additional M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot for installing another SSD or Intel Optane memory.
The ZBOX QTG7A4500 also includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4a ports, one Thunderbolt 4.0 (USB Type-C), five USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, one 2.5-gigabit network connector, one gigabit LAN, two 3.5- mm audio jack, as well as an SDXC memory card reader.
Since the novelty is equipped with an NVIDIA RTX A4500 graphics accelerator, it is more suitable for video editing, graphic design and 3D visualization tasks than for games. However, with support for connecting up to four displays (including 4K@120Hz or 8K@60Hz), the system can also be used as a digital signal output source in advertising, virtual reality applications and other applications.
The manufacturer did not report the cost and availability of the ZBOX QTG7A4500. But the pleasure obviously will not be cheap.
