One of the most anticipated devices of the coming years, without a doubt, is the improved PlayStation 5 Pro game console, which began to be talked about even before the launch of the regular PlayStation 5. TCL Technology unexpectedly managed to shed light on the device during an event in Poland. One of the presentation slides shows the roadmap of consoles, starting with the PS4 and Xbox One in 2013 and ending with the PlayStation 5 Pro and the new Xbox Series S/X. The launch dates for the latter are 2023-2024, and the key innovation will be the transition to more powerful hardware (GPU RX7700XT), capable of rendering a 4K image at a frequency of 60-120fps (against 2K @ 60-120fps for the current generation), which can be increased to 8K by upscaling .
And although Microsoft officially confirmed work on the new generation of Xbox consoles a year ago, it is worth noting that the information from the TCL slide is more of a forecast and is not official. After all, as we remember, even after a year and a half, Sony and Microsoft are unable to meet the demand for consoles due to a shortage of chips.
