Mass production of the second generation of Sony ‘s highly anticipated VR headset, the PlayStation VR2 , will begin in the second half of 2022, with a market launch scheduled for early 2023. This was announced by an authoritative analyst at TF International Securities Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his accurate predictions about new Apple products.
The analyst noted that these are previous dates that may change – everything will depend on the readiness of future VR projects. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Sony will release approximately one and a half million PS VR 2 – for starters.
Last week, at an online investor briefing, PlayStation leader Jim Ryan spoke about future plans and, among other things, promised more than 20 games from internal and external studios at the launch of PS VR 2.
