The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is the next flagship of the entire foldable smartphone market. According to preliminary information, the device will receive two screens already familiar from the Galaxy Z Fold 3, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a triple camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 4400 mAh battery with 25-watt charging, and a new revision of One UI 4.1 firmware on Android 12. But what about the evolution of the Fold format itself? Earlier, UniverseIce reported that the gadget will receive a modified hinge, which is directly responsible for the “magic” of opening the inner panel, and today it showed the difference clearly.
So, as we can see in the render above, two points will change: the peculiar left frame of the external display and the bulge of the end. Visually, the difference is felt quite clearly, distracting from a slight decrease in the thickness of the remaining frames of the outer panel. Unfortunately, there is no need to wait for the built-in stylus compartment in the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The question of finding innovations with stronger glass to replace the plastic coating of the inner screen remains on the spot. The presentation of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 is expected to take place in July or August.
