A few more charts of the popular AnTuTu benchmark. This time we will talk about the segment of the budget and mid-budget levels. And there is something to see. Contrary to common perceptions about mobile hardware manufacturers, the mid-range segment is completely dominated by MediaTek and its Dimensity 8100/8100 Max: devices with this chip were taken from 1 to 7 in the overall rating (Vivo S15 Pro, Realme GT Neo 3, Redmi Note 11T Pro+, OPPO Reno 8 Pro+, Redmi K50, OnePlus Ace, Reami Note 11T Pro). Dimensity 8000 (OPPO K10) took the eighth position, while Qualcomm and its Snapdragon 870 got only 9th (Vivo S15) and 10th (IQOO Neo 6 SE) places. The most popular configuration in the segment is 12/256 GB, although there was a place for the daredevil Redmi Note 11T Pro 6/128 GB. Qualcomm will make a fuss in June, when the first gadgets on Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 hit the chart.
In the budget segment, everything is in Qualcomm, and only OPPO Reno 7 on Dimensity 900 holds the banner of the Taiwanese competitor. The best chipset in the class is Snapdragon 778G, the most popular memory bundle is 8/256 GB (5 positions), although 8/128 GB is also not a shameful option (4 positions). As a reminder, AnTuTu charts are not a specific measure of performance, but give an idea of the trends in the smartphone market from month to month.
