Xiaomi has officially announced the start of cooperation with the famous photo brand Leica. The involvement of German specialists in improving the camera of Chinese smartphones is nothing new (Huawei has been realizing this advantage for years), but Xiaomi can get a token exclusive. Digital Chat Station raised the issue of the presence of the famous “Coca-Cola” Leica logo directly on the body of the gadget itself, while Huawei had it only on the box. There is already Leitz Phone 1 on the market, but its author is Leica itself, so the appearance of the canonical logo on Xiaomi 12 Ultra can be a sign of the seriousness of the parties.
In addition to Leica, the device has a chance to become the first offering on the market with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. It is also credited with a QHD + display, 120-W charging and a leather or ceramic case, depending on the edition (the latter is also fresh information from Digital Chat Station). Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to debut in July. We look forward to a new round of Leica work.
