Introduced in October 2020, the Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro have become one of the brand’s longest-lived flagships. Despite the fact that more than a year and a half has passed since the announcement of the Mate 40 series, its sales did not stop until that moment. However, the supply of Kirin 9000 chips is not endless, as evidenced by the disappearance of the line from the official Huawei store in China. In this regard, even rumors spread that the devices were discontinued. On the other hand, the company has an alternative at the ready – Mate 40E Pro , presented in early March and becoming an almost complete clone of the Mate 40 Pro, adjusted for the chipset. In other words, for some time brand fans will continue to be able to buy a not too outdated flagship under a new name.
