Well, what was said at the level of rumors a couple of days ago has been confirmed. Sony brings to life the first part of the legendary The Last Of Us. First released in June 2013, Naughty Dog has remastered the game with the PlayStation 5’s capabilities, and adapted the title for a sequel, The Last Of Us: Part II ( our review ). The remake will be released on September 2, but the most interesting thing is the postscript at the end of the trailer: it is also being developed on a PC (that is, the release will be later than the date indicated earlier, but still will be!). UPDATE: Now it’s official!
Well, and one more thing. The PlayStation Direct service found box art of two editions of the game – the standard and Firefly Edition ($70 and $100 respectively). Some users even managed to order, but right now everything has been removed there. The remaster of the second part is still delayed. Ready to take Ellie across the country for the third time in search of salvation from the zombie apocalypse?
