The cryptocurrency market opened the new working week with another fall – on the morning of June 13, the most popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin lost almost 8% of its value (compared to the previous session) and dropped to $25,000 per unit, as evidenced by data from the CoinDesk website , which tracks the cost of cryptocurrencies on different exchanges.
At the time of writing, the offer for one Bitcoin coin is $25,238, which is 7.93% less than a day ago. Bitcoin hasn’t dropped this low since December 2020.
As usual, they are getting cheaper along with Bitcoin – for example, Ethereum lost 8.76% in a day and fell to $1300.
Recall that the most popular cryptocurrency in the world has been getting cheaper for several months in a row and has already lost 64% of the maximum of $69,000 — this is how much the cryptocurrency was worth by the end of 2021.
As always, different analysts give completely different forecasts. Someone expects a further fall against the backdrop of a global recession due to the war in Ukraine, and someone believes that very soon Bitcoin will be $100,000 per coin. How exactly the situation will develop, as always, is impossible to predict – one can only think.
The collapse of the cryptocurrency market continues – Bitcoin dropped to $26 thousand for the first time since December 2020, and Ethereum is already cheaper than $1800
