A series of July presentations started with the announcement of Huawei Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro. The novelties inherit the basic concept of the series, placing the greatest emphasis on design, balanced filling and, in particular, front cameras. It was they who became the most important upgrade relative to their predecessors, and by no means nominal. Both models received a 60-megapixel main module, and not a simple one, but a wide-angle one (capture angle of 100 degrees) and with autofocus. In the case of the “firmware” it is also adjacent to a portrait telephoto with a 2x optical zoom – and also with autofocus!

A couple of useful changes have also been made to the main cameras: the resolution of the main module has not changed (50 MP), but the sensor has become larger (1 / 1.56 “). But, alas, everything is the same without OIS. The width remained 8 MP, but it got autofocus , allowing you to take macro shots as close as 2 cm.
Apparently, considering the design close to ideal, the company left everything as before, correcting only the design of the main camera block. On the front, these are the same waterfall screens with FHD + resolution, made using OLED technology. They decided to sacrifice battery capacity in favor of thinness and weight: in the case of the base Nova 10, it is only 6.88 mm (4000 mAh with 66 W charging), while in Nova 10 Pro it is 7.88 mm at 4500 mAh and 100 W charging. Both models are based on the 4G version of the Snapdragon 778G chipset running HarmonyOS 2.0.1.
Both new products will hit the shelves in 8/128 and 8/256 GB configurations at the following prices: 2699 and 2999 yuan for Huawei Nova 10 and 3699 and 3999 yuan for Nova 10 Pro. There are four color schemes, and they are common to both models: black, silver, purple and green. Sales in China will start on July 8.
